Salisbury Visiting Nurse Association Companions perform a wide range of non-medical duties such as cooking, cleaning, transportation to stores, restaurants, and doctor appointments, as well as medication reminders, socializing and recreation, and assistance with phone calls.

SVNA's staff of capable people offer companionship and help to clients so they may remain comfortable and independent at home.

Companion hours are flexible and may extend to 24-hour coverage.

This service is available to people of all ages - not just the elderly - who need a companion for the short or long term.
