The northwest corner of Connecticut has the highest percentage of elderly people in the state. Consequently, one of Salisbury VNA's most important missions is to assist senior citizens in staying in their homes for as long as possible and as safely as possible.

Although the range of health services utilized by our seniors is fragmented and complex, our team of trained healthcare professionals reviews the needs of the patient with his/her doctor to determine the most appropriate care needed by the individual. Whether hands-on care in the home is best or a different placement necessary, SVNA provides the counseling and referrals to the other community resources to best serve the patient and family.
