After discharge from a hospital following surgery or an illness, patients continuing to recover at home appreciate the skills of SVNA's nursing and therapy staff. While a nurse may make daily visits for wound care or less frequent visits for other diagnoses, a therapist can set up an individualized exercise program to help patients more quickly resume their usual lifestyle.
