respite care

Respite Care

Primary caregivers, especially in long term situations, need to take time away for their own well being. SVNA's respite care allows caregivers time for themselves, secure in the knowledge that their loved one is safe and cared for at home. Our home health aides are trained to look after all the needs of ill, elderly or frail individuals, from personal care to food preparation.

Hours are flexible and can be arranged for an hour, a day or longer, including 24-hour care if needed.

Companions

SVNA companions offer a wide range of non-medical duties, which can include cooking, cleaning, transportation for shopping or a meal at a restaurant, assistance with phone calls and correspondence, recreation and most important of all, socialization. If you or someone you care about would benefit from having a companion in the home, turn to SVNA.

Call 860-435-0816 and ask about respite care or companions
